Costa Rica is a BRICS country (which means it owns a growing economy) money is earned through exports,tourism and also ecotourism which is when there are tourists that come to the country to see forests and to see new wildlife that is in Costa Rica which they cannot see in other countries. Costa Rica is located near the Caribbean in South America.
 
Ecotourism in Costa Rica is one of the main sources of income among the country the country also takes advantage of the situation where there is a higher demand of eco-tourists to visit protected areas and also national parks. One of the highest tourist attractions in Costa Rica is the Poas Volcano Crater, this shows one of many ways Eco-Tourism earns Costa Rica money for the economy.
